INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW RADOM, 24-27.08.2023
The International Airshow Radom 2023 was held on 26th and 27th August on the Radom airport Poland. The first show starts in 2000. Edition 2023 was impressive by the number of the participants, but the show was marked by some facts. Probably this was the last public event we can see Polish MiG-29 and Su-22 in flight. Both are going to be retired soon. Sadly we didn't see a dynamic display from MiG-29, but Su-22 made some spectacular low passes especially in the night show where she used photo lighting bombs. The good news was the participation of the newly delivered FA-50 advanced trainer and light fighter. One of those flew past in pair with MiG-29. Another debut was the first AW 101 for Polish Navy delivered less than a month before the show. During the show Polish Armed Forces held a fly past of almost all flying inventory under Polish service. About the other performers in the air - a lot of F-16s and single Eurofighter and F/A-18. Some classic jets as MiG-15s and TS-11s were nice addition to the program. A really spectacular part was the night show with participation of paragliders, aerobatic planes, helicopter, TS-11, Su-22 and C-130.
