95th ANNIVERSARY HELLENIC AIR FORCE, Piraeus, 10.05.2026

The 95th anniversary of the Hellenic Air Force was celebrated over the Piraeus coastline with an hour-long air show on 10 May. Part of the show consisted of a flyover of groups of aircraft, while at the end the Daedalus (T-6 Texan II) and Zeus (F-16 Block 52+) demonstration teams presented their full program. The Greek hosts took advantage of the international exercise Tiger Meet 2026 being held at the nearby Araxos airbase and a large group of participants flew over the audience. The British Red Arrows demonstration group, which was in Greece at the same time for a training period, also made several flyovers in full formation.

AN-2 AT WORK, Maslarevo village, 05.07.2026

In the early Sunday morning of July 5, we had the opportunity to capture in photos the work of an An-2, working in the area of ​​the village of Maslarevo. The crew of the aircraft began preparations even before sunrise at the Grivitsa base airport. After flying to a grassy area near the village of Maslarevo, shortly after 6:00 a.m. the aircraft began work in the area, treating sunflower fields.

DEPLOYMENT OF USAF KC-135 FLEET, Sofia, 18.02-28.06.2026

Between February 18th and June 28th, about 15 KC-135 aerial tankers were deployed at Vasil Levski International Airport in Sofia. Weeks after their arrival, the United States launched Operation Epic Fury, striking Iran. The photo report offers photo shots at different times of the day and weather conditions – day, night, sunset and sunrise, in rain and snow. The photo report begins with the landing of the first deployed aircraft and ends with the departure of the last four on June 28th. Photos of some additional aircraft that provided logistical support for the deployment of the KC-135 are also included.

THRACIAN BLADE 2026, Cheshnegirovo ex-AFB, 17.06.2026

In the period 8-19 June, under the leadership of the Bulgarian Air Force and the Multinational Helicopter Tactical Training Center in Portugal (MHTC), was held the exercise "Thracian Blade 2026". On 17th June 2026, a Capability Demonstration Day was held at Cheshnegirovo Airport as part of the exercise, with the participation of forces and assets from the Air Forces of Bulgaria, Austria, Belgium, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary and Switzerland. The actions of the multinational helicopter formation were covered by MiG-29 and F-16 Block 70 fighters. Su-25 ground attack aircraft provided close air support, and L-39 aircraft provided close air cover, attacking targets scouted before the landing. A C-27J Spartan military transport aircraft parachuted cargo for the logistical support of the ground component.

CLINCENI AIR SHOW 2026, Romania, 06.06.2026

Clinceni Air Show sums up how Romania develops his future civil and military aviation staff. Thousands of spectators, may be half of them children, enjoyed the show at the main Romanian sport aviation airfield. Gliders, light aircraft, aerobatics, single and group flights were demonstrated from the hosts. And some guests from Police and Air Force made the day louder.
