ANATOLIAN EAGLE 2025, Konya AFB, Turkey, 02-03.07.2025
The next international air exercise of the "Anatolian Eagle" series took place at Turkey's largest fighter base in the city of Konya from June 23 to July 4. 45 Turkish aircraft, 30 from partner countries and over 1,000 personnel participated. Participating countries included Azerbaijan, Hungary, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United States, as well as NATO with an air warning and control aircraft.
LIMA'25, Langkawi, Malaysia, 17-21.05.2025
LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL MARITIME AND AEROSPACE EXHIBITION, LIMA’25, welcomed 860 exhibitors from 24 countries, reaffirming LIMA’s position as one of the premier defense and aerospace exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. The 17th edition of the exhibition LIMA hosted 450,000 attendees. A total of 43 aircrafts and 31 ships from both local and foreign countries participated in the five day event.
CLINCENI AIR SHOW 2025, 31.05.2025
Clinceni air show is already traditional festival held at the main airfield of Romanian Aeroclubs organization. Most of the club's aircraft types were present in flight including aerobatic teams Hawks of Romania, White wings, The Pelicans, Blue wings and more. The addition of some Romanian air force aircraft gave the event even more variety.
INIOCHOS 2025, Andravida AFB, 07.04.2025
One of the biggest of the series exercises INIOCHOS was held between 31st March and 7th April 2025 as twelve countries participated with flying activities in more than 1300 sorties. Indian SU-30MKI returned again after his first participation in 2023. Traditionally for the last editions UAE (Mirage 2000), Qatar (F-15), France (Mirage 2000), Israel (G-550), Italy (Tornado), Slovenia (PC-9), Spain (F/A-18) and USA (F-16, KC-46 and KC-135) were involved in the exercise. Montenegro was presented with Bell 412 and for the first time Polish Air Force with their F-16s. As usual Hellenic Air Force involved all aircraft types.
The first Bulgarian F-16, Graf Ignatievo AFB, 02.04 and 13.04.2025
The first Bulgarian F-16 landed exactly at 14:29 at Graf Ignatievo air base on 02.04.2025. The aircraft modification is F-16D block70, with tail number 301. To reach Bulgaria, it took off on March 31st at around 13:00 Bulgarian time from the Lockheed Martin factory airport in Greenville together with two air tankers and two other F-16s destined for Slovakia. After flying over the Atlantic Ocean, the group landed at the Royal Spanish Air Force air base in Moron, where it stayed for a day and with the help of tankers again on April 2 flew to Bulgaria. The official ceremony to welcome the aircraft took place at the base on April 13th in the presence of officials and media.
