LOW LEVEL FLIGHTS, Peloponnese, Greece, 06-11.05.2026

Many photographers were expecting low level flights during the Tiger Meet 2026, but unfortunately none of the participants in the meeting passed through the Vouraikos valley between May 6th and 11th. On the other hand, the Hellenic Air Force did its best to get good shots of F-16 and F-4 flyovers.

TIGER MEET 2026, Araxos AFB, Greece, 08.05.2026

The annual meeting of squadrons with tiger or cat names, called Tiger Meet 2026, took place at the Hellenic Air Force Base Araxos from 4th to 15th May 2026. Squadrons from Belgium, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary and Poland took part in the daily missions of the exercise. In connection with the exercise, a spotters day was held on 8th May as well as an air show on 10th May.

Rehearsal for MILITARY PARADE, Sofia, 05.05.2026

This year the military parade for Bulgarian Armed Forces day had only air component with limited number of aircraft. The pictures were made on the rehearsal day 5th May.

RELOCATION OF USAF KC-135 FLEET, Sofia, 18.02-05.04.2026

In the second half of February 2026, a total of 15 KC-135s tankers were moved to Vasil Levski International Airport in Sofia. The official reason was a training exercise that coincided with the US attacks on Iran. In addition to the tankers, a large number of C-130 and C-17 cargo planes delivered service equipment.

LOW LEVEL FLIGHTS, Peloponnese, Greece, 03-05.03.2026

It is already tradition the participants in the annual multinational exercise INIOCHOS to take low level flights through Vouraikos valley in the mountains of Peloponnese peninsula. The low level flights are part of the exercise missions. This year because of the strikes against Iran USAF cancelled his participation followed by another countries. As a result very few countries took part in 2026 exercise. In the valley we saw only French Mirage-2000D, Slovenian PC-9M, but a lot of hosts F-16, F-4 and Mirage-2000.
