2026 <p> Back RELOCATION OF USAF KC-135 FLEET, Sofia, 18.02-05.04.2026 In the second half of February 2026, a total of 15 KC-135s tankers were moved to Vasil Levski International Airport in Sofia. The official reason was a training exercise that coincided with the US attacks on Iran. In addition to the tankers, a large number of C-130 and C-17 cargo planes delivered service equipment. </p>
