ATHENS FLYING WEEK 2024 airshow was interesting as usual but unlike the last several editions the foreign participants were less. The main part of the show was taken over by Greek Armed Forces aircraft. We were happy to see nice tactical demo from the Phantoms in very close formation and also the first appearance on this show of the newly acquired M-346 Master. As usual F-16, Mirage-2000, Rafale and a lot of helicopters were part of the show.
The foreign participants were from already regular French Air and Space Forces and Royal Saudi Air Force. The French were represented by demo team Requin Mike consisted of two Rafale jets. Saudis showed demonstration of their special painted green Eurofighter and demo team Saudi Hawks (third time in the last four years). Spain's Patrulla Águila and Swiss's PC-7 Team were the rest teams to be involved in the demonstrations.
